After conducting market research, it was observed that there is an increasing demand for baggie organizers, also known as ziplock bag organizers, in the Amazon US market. The trend of this increased demand appears to be solid and steadily growing, indicating that it is not a temporary trend. Following this, a competitor analysis was performed, revealing that no single brand dominates the market, and sales in this sector are distributed among various small brands in a homogeneous manner.
A feasibility study was conducted to evaluate the economic, technical, and operational aspects of the product. Customer reviews of existing products were examined, and taking into account customer feedback and expectations, an assessment was made of how our product could differentiate itself from existing ones (Point of Difference).
After reviewing market products, a key issue for customers surfaced: existing items make it challenging to easily insert ziplock bags. Customers struggle as their hands rub
against the box, resulting in wrinkled
bags and an unsightly appearance.

for individuals who strongly prefer using the organizer without the need to relocate it.
The concept of a magnetic and openable lid has proven to be an effective solution for designing a product that facilitates comfortable filling of a Ziplock bag without displacing it. This idea aligns seamlessly with the brand's commitment to innovation and simplifying life.

The simplicity mindset integrated with the brand. Following this design idea, the focus shifted to finding suitable dimensions for the product. The dimensions of the most commonly used ziplock bag brands played a role in this. Additionally, customer reviews of existing products in the market were read, and complaints about dimensions were taken into account. Thus, negative comments received by competitors in the market due to product dimensions were prevented from affecting Molermo. The decision was made to use two different sizes in four different storage boxes. For gallon-sized baggies, the dimensions are 30x10x7.6cm, and for other quart, sandwich, and snack-sized baggies, the dimensions are 20x10x7.6cm.

After the design decision was made, the next step involved selecting the manufacturer for the product. As the product was made of bamboo, it was necessary to have it produced in China. During this period, communication was established with manufacturers through Alibaba. Samples were requested from the final three manufacturers, and ultimately, a decision was made to start production with one of them. Throughout this process, the design and production of the product were supported with 3D programs.
